Location

While the exact location of our villa will be shared after booking, here’s what we can tell you: you’ll be staying in a stunning private villa complex nestled in Seseh, a peaceful coastal village just a short drive from Bali’s famous Canggu area.

You’ll be picked up from the airport and driven through the organised chaos of Canggu, before arriving at the villa (or your prior accommodation) your new home away from home.

Canggu is known for its surf, cafes, markets, and laid-back creative scene. It’s where rice fields meet beach clubs, and yogis, artists, and skaters blend into one effortlessly cool, tropical rhythm. The energy here is magnetic! The kind that makes you feel alive, open, and inspired, and you'll feel it from the moment you arrive!

Amy’s Island Story

After living here for three years, I can safely say that this beautiful island is where I feel the most alive. Driving down palm tree lined roads, smelling the sea salt in the breeze. It really is magical. When I first landed, I too was sceptical of the ‘over hype’ and the super indulgence of social media influencers, crowding landmarks with their tripods. This couldn’t possibly be the place for me. But, I was so wrong. Bali stole my heart and healed me in places I didn’t even know were broken.

 

This is why I created Skate Escape: Bali. To show you another way of living, to heal you in places that need love and attention. To place you in an environment that is designed to bring out your playful side, which often times is left neglected. I want to welcome you into my world, my life and my home. I want you to laugh,  sip coconuts and build memories that will last a lifetime, because that’s what Bali is all about.
